Mercil Mariano (Earth-1)

Mercil Mariano, known by his alter-ego name Mercutio, is a superhero affiliated with the Punishers. His power is being able to turn into fluid and poisonous mercury.

His mercury form moves in a flowy state, unable to pick itself up. He is able to change the severity of the poisoning, going from small burns on the skin preventing average fighting to deadly infection. As a human, he is also acrobatic and he has good fighting skills.

He wears a gray suit with a legged design on the front. This suit can morph into mercury along with Mercil.

Being one of the original founders of the Punishers, he is also close friends with Peter Pyroc (and, by extension, Peter's wife, Sarah Okonma) and Daniel Dorian. While fighting, he has been altered somewhat through fighting crime for so long. When in battle with Rogue, he got injected by a special serum turning him into the Blue Merc, an antagonistic version of himself that can carry more weight in mercury form, making him stronger and more durable during that form. However, for the most part, Mercil has stayed near the same as how he started throughout the story, protecting Tokyo with his team.
